About ACT & NSW Logbook Training
At Carl's Driver Training, I am proud to hold both ACT and NSW government-approved accreditation, allowing you to log 3 hours of driving in your logbook for every 1 hour of driving lesson during your first 10 hours, provided you have an ACT or NSW learner plate.

Automatic Driving Lessons: Learn in my 2024 Toyota Yaris Cross Urban Hybrid, which boasts a 5-star ANCAP rating and advanced safety features to ensure a secure driving experience for you and your family
Logbook Training: Available in Canberra’s North Suburbs, including the City, Belconnen, and Gungahlin areas. Special requests for South Canberra suburbs can be accommodated.
Bilingual Instruction: I offer lessons in both English and Chinese, ensuring clear communication for all learners

Regular 1 Hour Lesson - $90
At Carl's Driver Training, I provide structured lessons that cover all the essential competencies needed to become a confident and safe driver. Here’s what you can expect:
Flexible Pickup: I can pick you up from school, home, or work, making it convenient for you to fit driving lessons into your schedule.
Personalized Lesson Plans: Each session will be tailored based on your previous lessons and your suggestions, ensuring that we focus on what you need most.
Comprehensive Competency Coverage: I aim to integrate all necessary competencies in each lesson, allowing you to develop well-rounded driving skills.
Varied Routes: To maximize your learning experience, we will practice in different areas and on various routes. This helps you gain exposure to a variety of driving conditions and scenarios.
Logbook Credit: Remember, for the first 10 hours of lessons, every hour with me counts as 3 logbook hours for both ACT and NSW learners.

Intensive 2 Hours Lesson - $170
Our Intensive 2-Hour Lesson is designed to accelerate your competency-based training or provide a thorough refresher on all driving and safety skills. Here’s why this session is highly recommended:
Comprehensive Training: This extended session allows us to cover more ground and delve deeper into the skills you need to master.
Explore New Areas: We can visit unfamiliar town centers that are typically challenging to cover in a one-hour lesson, such as Gungahlin, Belconnen, the City, Kingston, Manuka, Fyshwick, Woden, and Tuggeranong.
Personalized Assessment: You'll have the opportunity to identify areas for improvement and gain valuable feedback, helping to build your confidence on the road.
Enhanced Learning Experience: By spending more time behind the wheel, you'll not only refine your skills but also become more comfortable driving in diverse environments.

Flexible Booking: After your first lesson, I will send you a link to easily book your next one or two-hour sessions.
Payment Details: Please note that payment is required at the end of your first lesson.
Important Information:
This package does not guarantee that you will pass your driving test within 10 hours; additional lessons may be necessary based on your progress.
If you find that you’ve learned well or decide to change your plans, any unused hours are refundable.
